The SC4000 is a highly advanced computer-controlled coin counter and sorter manufactured by Scan Coin Technology. It can be programmed to identify coins from all over the world and can sort up to 4000 coins per minute. The Operator's Instruction Manual contains everything that everyday users - for example bank staff or bus depot staff - need to use the SC4000. Instructions are included for installation, operation, cleaning and basic troubleshooting. The Service Manual is used by Scan Coin's own technical support engineers, and contains very detailed procedures to service, troubleshoot and configure the machine. The service procedures are all based on first hand experience of replacing the components. The manuals were originally produced in Adobe PageMaker, but were later transferred to Microsoft Word and converted to Adobe PDF for distribution via the Internet, as well as on hard copy. All the illustrations are produced by a professional technical illustrator, based on photographs, sketches and Scan Coin's construction drawings. More recently, the output from Scan Coin's CAD system has been converted to a graphics format compatible with Word. |
